Irrigation Means What?
Providing water to the plant at right quantity, at right place, at right time. If the systems will not meet these criteria, any irrigation installation is not benefited to plant. Thereby we cannot keep proper vegetation and loosing of money and time is the result. So irrigation companies developed irrigation systems according to the climate, soil, and crops.
Drip Irrigation Defined
Though definitions of drip irrigation may vary somewhat the key words are basically the same. Drip irrigation is the frequent, slow, application of water to the specific root zone area of the plant material.
The goal of drip irrigation is to provide a constant level of subsurface moisture to the root ball of the plant for maintenance and optimum growth. "Pin point watering" and "localized irrigation" are descriptive terms and also used for drip irrigation.
The drip system control devices are set to steer a narrow course avoiding field saturation and soil dryness by governing time, pressure and flow and thus maintain the constant moisture level in the root ball of the plant.
